Design your poly mailer

Build the specification visually rather than describing it. Choose the format, colour, finish and closure, position your artwork, and send the result with a quote request so we are pricing the thing you actually built.

The preview is an approximate visual guide, not a production proof. Position, scale and colour are confirmed on a digital proof that you approve before printing.

How to get the most out of it

The tool is quickest when you already know the size. If you do not, settle that first with a physical sample — a preview cannot tell you whether your product fits.

  1. Pick the format before the colourType and size constrain everything after them.
  2. Choose the base, then check your ink against itA dark mark will not read on a dark film, whatever the print quality.
  3. Add artwork at a generous sizeMarks read smaller on a packed bag than they do on a flat preview.
  4. Leave room for the shipping labelPosition the artwork so a label does not have to land on it.
  5. Send it with a quote requestThe configuration travels with the enquiry as written specification.

What the tool does not do

  • It does not produce manufacturing artwork. The preview is a visual guide. Print-ready files are prepared to the specification on the artwork guidelines pageand confirmed on a proof.
  • It does not show accurate colour.A screen is backlit and film is not. Where a colour matters commercially, ask for a physical check rather than approving from a preview or a digital proof.
  • It does not calculate a price.Quantity, market and specification interact, so a price comes back from a person rather than from a calculator that would be wrong.
  • It does not confirm that your product fits.Only a physical sample packed with a real order does that.

Questions about the design tool

Is the preview an accurate representation of the finished product?

It is an approximate visual guide, not a production proof. Proportions, colour and placement are indicative. The binding version is the proof produced against your artwork on your chosen film, which you approve before anything is printed.

Does my artwork get uploaded when I use the tool?

No. The image you add is read by your own browser to draw the preview and stays on your device. It is only sent to us if you attach it to the quote form and submit it.

Will my configuration be saved if I close the tab?

It is held in your browser for the current session, so a reload does not lose your work. Closing the tab clears it. If you want to keep it, submit it with a quote request.

Can I use the tool with a keyboard?

Yes. Every control is a native form element, including artwork scale and position, which are range inputs rather than a drag-only canvas. Colour swatches behave as a radio group with arrow-key navigation.

What if I cannot see the preview?

Everything the tool captures can be described in the message field of the quote form instead, and we will apply it exactly the same way. The preview is a convenience rather than a requirement.
